A six-wicket haul from Eric Sukrah led Banks DIH to an eight-wicket victory over Mahdia when the teams collided recently in a 15-over Tapeball
fixture at Thirst Park.
Batting first after winning the toss, Banks DIH managed 172-6. Judell McAllister struck four fours and eight sixes in a top score of 79 not out off 49 balls, while Otis Gibson made 45 off 16 balls with two fours and six sixes. Mark Jeffers picked up 2-8 and Roston Austin 2-20.
Mahdia responded with 164 all out in 14.4 overs. Ershad Ali made 38 off 15 balls with five sixes while Malcolm Hubbard scored 37 including one four and five sixes off 16 balls.
Sukrah bagged 6-19 from three overs, while Seon Bovell had 2-18 off 1.4 overs.
