Guyana Rush Saints FC/RFA Pre-Heritage Senior Male and Female Football Tourneys continues

In the recent playoffs between Guyana Rush Saints FC and Snatchers FC Females (semifinals), the host club swamped Snatchers FC, 6-0. Nina Cabral fired in a helmet-trick making good use of all her opportunities, while her sister Amanda Cabral and Samantha Paulino the other as they booked their place in the championship match.

Gladiators FC hammered Far East United SC 8-0 to earn a place in the female final against Guyana Rush Saints FC.
In the first male semi final between Gladiators FC and Snatchers FC, both teams displayed an aggressive style of play for the entire match; after the final whistle was sounded, the score line read 3-3 which meant extra time was needed to decide the winner and this failed to do so.
In kicks from the penalty mark, Snatchers FC prevailed to book their place in the final. The second male semifinal between Guyana Rush Saints FC and Far East United SC saw a display of natural skills and team work from both teams.
Guyana Rush Saints were the better of the two and prevailed 3-1 and will face Snatchers for championships honours. Both finals were scheduled for last evening at the St Ignatius Village Sports Ground.
