The presentation being made by this Rep. of the Hand-in-Hand Business Development Department to a GBA representative.
This novel tournament was created in 2016 when the GBA was voted the Most Improved Association of 2016 at the National Sports Awards Ceremony. It is the first of its kind in Latin America and has provided a forum for the region’s best Under-16 boxers to test themselves against each other. Guyana has proudly hosted and has graciously been crowned champion of the three tournaments held so far.
For the first time, teams from the USA, Panama, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic have been invited as the GBA envisage that the higher level of competition would be a stern test for the region’s nursery.
