September is National Education Month. The Ministry of Public Telecommunications is playing a notable role in assuring that our children have greater access to learning materials and facilities.
The Rose Hall Town Anniversary Development Organisation is preparing to host its annual Primary Schools Spelling Bee, and the MOPT has donated 15 Digital Tablets for the stand-out performers.
The competition will be held on September 24, between the Rose Hall Town, Tain, Cropper and Port Mourant Primary Schools. Rose Hall Primary has been the defending champions for the past three years.
Rose Hall is also celebrating its 49th Anniversary as a town. Founder of the organisation, Andrew Griffith received the donation from Quincy Gordon.
