Bringing the curtain down on the six months of activities in the Information Communication and Technology (ICT) field, 30 teenagers who were apart of the programme were yesterday awarded certificates of achievements for their participation in the Ministry of Public Telecommunications ‘Code Camp’ 2019.
The graduates were present at the ceremony with their parents right by their side.
The graduation ceremony was held at the Arthur Chung Conference Centre for the participants who reside in Georgetown.
Minister of Public Telecommunications, Cathy Hughes, expressed her thoughts about the ‘Code Camp’ and its aim to train aspiring future leaders and guide them throughout the basic skills in ICT.
The ICT code camp was held in different regions throughout Guyana, where the teens who participated were guided by the instructors and learned in dept about the ICT field.
