Captain of the Guyana team that competed and won the Junior Kolapore match at the NRA 150th Imperial Meeting in England, Lennox Braithwaite, has expressed delight at winning the prestigious trophy.
Braithwaite, who is also there as Captain of the West Indies Fullbore Shooting Council team, said that despite challenging conditions which was experienced by almost all the shooters and challenges with the ammunition, the team represented Guyana with pride and he is proud of their performance as well as that of team Coach, GuyanaNRA Vice Captain, Dylan Fields.
Guyana totaled 558 points along with 51 Vs to beat Falklands Islands five points back on 553.44v with the Twin Island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago settling for third place with 549.37v.
