Dillon Mahadeo and Delice Adonis will wing out of Guyana today bound for the Madison, Wisconsin, USA where the Reebok Cross Fit Games is set to unfold from August 1-4 at the Alliant Energy Center.

The Guyanese duo who would be coached by Jamie Mc Donald will both be making their respective debuts at what is described as a grueling strength and fitness competition that ultimately crowns the “Fittest on Earth” and being held in Madison, which was recently named “America’s Fittest City” by Fitbit.
The pair has landed sponsorship to take care of a constant supply of supplements, compliments of Fitness Express. Owner of Fitness Express, Jamie Mc Donald said he was very pleased to be able to lend support to Mahadeo and Adonis as they embark on a journey to make Guyana and themselves proud.
“I have seen the commitment exhibited by both these athletes over the past months, preparing for what would be the biggest challenges of their fitness careers. We at Fitness Express have always been encouraging our athletes from all sports to be the best and we do so tangibly. Our support towards Dillon and Delice is no different as we want them to be empowered in a holistic manner as they go after glory.”
Mc Donald said that the next few days would be very hectic for them as they have been training in a committed and strategic way and it is now time for them to be tested against the best in the world.
What are the CrossFit Games like? The Games distinguish themselves from other sports by testing overall fitness, rather than skills in a specific area. In a “ready for anything” style, the athletes are challenged to a number of workouts that are kept secret until right before the event. In the past, they’ve been surprised with everything from a rough water swim to a pegboard climb. The pure strength of these athletes, plus the excitement of the unknown, make this a supercharged spectator sport.
