The Unicomer Group, through its Courts brand in Guyana, yesterday launched a new product to showcase its bedroom collections. Now introduced to customers is the Allnite Mattress in a Box (MIB).
This new type of mattress is an addition to the line of mattresses currently available at the Courts Sleep Centre at the Main Street store. The MIB is from the Allnite brand produced by the Lensyl Company.
After a demonstration on how to set up the MIB and details were provided on the product, customers had the opportunity to test out the item.
According to one customer, “It feels very comfortable and they [Courts representatives] said that its spring filled but, you are not feeling any springs; it feels like foam, soft and nice.”
“I would definitely buy this product because I know it will be easy to transport and it feels very comfortable. I would have probably dropped to sleep on it while I was able to try it out,” another customer indicated.
Following the formalities of the event, customers were treated to a number of games like bed making, pillow stacking; pillow race and pillow hoop. Participants received bedroom items for their success in the games.
Courts (Guyana) Operations Manager, Lovern Bakker, stated, “We [Courts] like to be first to market and this is a very innovative product. I’m sure many have never seen a mattress in a box before so this is what Courts is all about, making life easier to its customers.”
The manager said that the product was first launched earlier this year in Trinidad and customers have been happy about it so far, given that it is easy to transport.
Courts Guyana is making this product available to shoppers for only $79,999. However, it only comes in queen sizes.
This unique mattress is a high quality, pocket coil spring mattress with latex foam that is compressed in a box for easy pick up from the store. The MIB will be available in the Main Street store only and will be on display in the Courts Sleep Centre on the upper floor.
