Police in ‘G’ Division on Thursday, about 18:50hrs, acting on information received, went to a location at Bounty Hall, Essequibo Coast and arrested a 33-year-old labourer for possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.
He was allegedly found in possession of 26 grams of cocaine.
The Westbury, Essequibo Coast resident, Orlando “Blue Boy”, of 12 Westbury, Essequibo Coast,, appeared before Magistrate Esther Sam at the Suddie Magistrate’s Court yesterday morning and pleaded not guilty.
He was placed on $30,000 bail. The case has been postponed to August 29 for trial at the Charity Magistrate’s Court.
