The Abrams Zuil Secondary School, which is located on the Essequibo Coast, will finally undergo a tremendous leap of transformation, now that the final design of the building has been completed.
The design was recently presented by the Consultants to the Regional Administration, Department of Education, and Staff of the School. The school to be constructed will have a modern look, replacing the worn out wooden building.
The Abrams Zuil secondary ranks amongst the top schools on the Essequibo Coast; securing the CSEC top spots within the country on several occasion. This publication understands that the school presently accommodates an average of 490 students. The completed double flat building will be capable of accommodating 750 students.
Regional Executive Officer Mr. Denis Jaikaran said that the next stage of the process is vetting of the documents and public tender. The construction, he noted, will commence later in the year and will roll over to 2020.
