I detail a table of GPL charges [Account #0306603; Meter #03020509] and my payments to GPL from January 2019 to date:
January 380 kwh 19,065 Pd 19,100 Estimated Cons.
February 420 kwh 21,109 Pd 20,000 -do-
March 379 kwh 15,466 Pd 20,000 -do-
April 393 kwh 21,298 Pd 21,300 -do-
May 454 kwh 22,825 Pd 23,000 -do-
June 492 kwh 24,532 To be paid -do-
GPL Meter-readers visit my premises monthly and read my meter but my charges are all reflected as estimated! Are they working or b-s-ing?
My meter is foggy. I have to read it with the aid of a torchlight. This was brought to the attention of your Meter-readers. They kept assuring me that they are reading my meter just fine. What great customer (dis)service!
My meter, as at 20:00 on 24th June 2019, read 23,182 kwh. The June billing to 8th June 2019 reads 23,614 kwh – a difference of 432 kwh. I have not consumed this but I am being asked to pay. And if I do not pay, my supply will be cut off.
Is this the efficiency of GPL?
I am requesting: (a) that GPL replace my cloudy meter so that their Meter-readers can cause me to be charged actual consumption rather than estimated consumption-now for over 6 months, and (b) that Meter-readers stop guess-timating my consumption over a protracted period.
I would like to think that the fore-going deficiency does not extend to the GPL Office and that early attention will be directed on my matter herein.
Thanking you.
