What is stopping us from showing love to each other?
DEAR EDITOR,
In my view, the world is the way it is today because of the influence of Satan. For those of us who believe in God and Jesus Christ, we also believe in the existence of Satan.
Satan has got people all over the world fearful of each other. To overcome fear, you need love.
Even where I live, people lead isolated lives and are unable to trust each other.
So what is stopping us from showing each other that we love one another? Is it fear of being ridiculed and laughed at or is it pride?
Nowhere in the Christian Bible does it teach that Jesus’ Second Coming will bring about peace. What it does teach is that there will be trials and tribulations.
Why is it necessary to have these trials and tribulations? So that ‘Good people’ can be rewarded for their deeds. It is a way of separating the good from the professed good.
In the mean time, what is the ordinary person supposed to do in a world conquered by Satan/evil?
Understand that there is hope through Jesus Christ and God will deliver us from the temptations of evil so that we learn to trust and love again.
