Youth Basketball Guyana’s National Schools’ Basketball Festival, currently being played in the Georgetown/East Coast Demerara Regional Zone continues today and tomorrow with four matches daily following a break from play this week.
This weekend’s play at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall (CASH) will be predominantly in the Girls’ Development and Under-14 categories. Today, President’s College will play Tutorial High in the first fixture in the Under-14 category at 15:30hrs followed by three more girls matches.
Tomorrow, play tips off at 14:30hrs with St. Stanislaus College and Bladen Hall looking for their first win in the U-14 category. The feature game will see Plaisance Secondary and Chase Academy matching skills in the Under-18 category from 17:00hrs.
The fixtures from today to June 1 for the tournamnet, sponsored by Edward B. Beharry & Company Ltd, the National Sports Commission, Banks DIH and ExxonMobil, are below.
