Dear Editor,
I am addressing this letter to First Lady Sandra Granger, as one mother to another.
Dear Mrs. Granger,
On this day in which mothers around the world are celebrated, my heart is heavy because my son, Courtney Crum-Ewing, is not here to celebrate with me.
That is because he was callously executed on March 15, 2015, not far from our home in Diamond Housing Scheme, while exercising his democratic right to protest.
Under this Government, headed by your husband, President David Granger, we were promised, and are hopeful, that justice would not be delayed.
We hope that this promise will be kept to us.
Yours respectfully,
Donna Browne-Harcourt
