It is Mother’s day and the final of the Indian Premier League, but four of the country’s leading softball teams will be going head to head at Everest Cricket Club ground with lots at stake.
This specially arranged mini tournament is part of the Everest Cricket Club Master’s day of activities to coincide with an IPL final viewing brunch and promises lots of action.
The outfield is damp from the recent rain and will add to the excitement when play is called at 09:30hrs with the semifinals. At 13:00hrs, the winning semifinalists will play for the Trophy Stall title, while player of the final will also get a prize, compliments of Trophy Stall.
Regal Masters will begin as favourites because of their recent form but will be hard pressed by a peaking Wellman Masters, determined HS Masters and underestimated Ariel Masters.
Whichever way it goes one thing is certain, there will be lots of fun.
