Integrated Security Services (ISS) Inc., one of the largest security services locally, has partnered with the Lusignan Golf Club (LGC) for the staging of
its inaugural tournament tomorrow at the LGC, teeing off from12:30hrs.
ISS, located at 21 Peter Rose Street, Queenstown, has indicated that for a long time they have had a high interest in the sport since being introduced to the LGC by top fashion designer, Sonia Noel.
In discussion with the LGC President Aleem Hussain, ISS management noted that the precision required in the game of golf can be compared and likened to the precision required in the high level of security and other services that that ISS provides, engaging no margin for error.
ISS plans to use the club and golf to help in team-building activities for their staff. Meanwhile, tomorrow’s tournament is opened to all golfers and members while me
mbers of the public are invited to witness what is expected to be a keenly contested tournament.
Fans can contact the LGC on 220 5660 or 645 0944 to resister for free lessons in the game. The lighted driving range that is being developed by LGC partnered by MACORP is expected to be completed soon and will help to raise the standard of golf locally; it will be open to golfers and learners for practice.
This tournament will be played in 0-9, 10-18, 19-28 flights; there will be prizes for nearest to the pin, best gross, best net and longest drive.
