The destiny of several teams will be known tonight when the curtains come down on the group round in the Guinness ‘Greatest of the Streets’ Linden
Action from the previous night in the Guinness ‘Greatest of the Streets’ Linden Championship at the Mackenzie Market Tarmac.

The venue has provided several upsets to date; in the process setting up several high profile must win matches, as teams strive to earn a place in the business round of the tournament. In the first match of the night, Assassa Ballers will oppose Amazings from 19:30hrs, with NK Ballers battling Capital Storm from 20:00hrs.
The third fixture will pit High Rollers against Retrieve Unknown from 20:30hrs, with Amelia’s Ward Russians locking horns with Coomacka from 21:00hrs. In the final two matches, home side Swag Entertainment battle Wisroc at 21:30hrs, while fellow community team and defending champion Silver Bullets tackle Barsenal from 22:00hrs.
According to an official release from the coordinators, “Despite the weather which has hindered play, we have experienced quality football and with several teams needing to win on the night, we are expecting nothing short of excitement for the fans who are expected to descend on the venue.”
The release further said, “The dates for the tournament has also shifted, with the quarterfinal and semi-final pegged for tomorrow [Saturday]. This move will ensure for a faster conclusion of the event and forced the teams to prepare and execute better, as they aim to seal a place in the championship match. The grand finale is slated for May 18th.”
