The opening day of the third and final round of the Hand-in-Hand three-day U-19 Inter-County cricket match between defen
ding Champions Berbice and Demerara set for Lusignan yesterday, was washed out without ball being bowled.
Rain, which poured for most of the day on the East Coast had the final say as the day was abandoned before Tea.
The second day of the deciding game is set to commence at 09:30hrs today weather permitting, with Berbice holding a lead slim .7 lead over Demerara who are on 16.3 points.
