DEAR EDITOR,
The crime situation in Guyana is once again on the rise, mostly by the bicycle and motorbike bandits, but remember, crime is a business by certain elements in society all over the world.
Our citizens and foreign visitors to our beautiful country can only be comfortable if the Guyana Police Force returns to the study room and comes up with a very simple, serious and continuous campaign against pedal cycles and motorbikes by day, night, rain or shine.
A number will appear before the courts for defective documents, and body searches will in some instances unearth a lot of illegal items. Our crime rate will rapidly reduce if this simplicity is put to work immediately.
Yours Faithfully,
Parmanand Ram
