Multi talented Guyanese Damani Davis, who resides in the Bahamas, has once again showed his class as an emerging top athl
ete when he won the 13-15 age group at the Commonwealth Bank Bahamas Triathlon National Championships on Sunday last.
The Bahamas Triathlon Association’s National Championships took place in part at the scenic Jaw’s Beach which provided a spectacular backdrop for the triathlon season finale. David won his category in 38:51, covering the 400m swim, 10km cycle race and the 2.5km run.
The top five finishers in David’s age group have been selected to represent the Bahamas at the CARIFTA Triathlon Championship set for Jamaica, later this year.
