Opposition Leader, Bharrat Jagdeo, yesterday accused the APNU+AFC Government of playing “musical chairs” while the country continues to drift away.
At his press conference yesterday at his Church Street Office, Jagdeo said that cost of living is skyrocketing; there have been 30,000 job losses, and increased taxes. He said that the current state of affairs leaves workers struggling everyday to make ends meet.
Jagdeo also lambasted the government for failing to produce a plan to address security and the apparent escalation in crime which he says is a major problem for citizens.
The PPP General Secretary said that the government is failing to acknowledge that there are real issues facing the nation, while noting that the state of affairs will only continue to deteriorate.
