The final night of rivalry in the Stag Easter Futsal Festival championship will unfold tonight at the National Gymnasium with some potentially breathtaking action in the making.
Gold is Money will hope to end their sojourn in these championships in golden fashion but will have to get past an equally determined Bent Street which will fancy their chances of also walking away with the top prize of $700,000 and trophy.
Which ever way it goes tonight, there will be some consolation for the losing finalist as they will pocket $300,000. The third place encounter brings together North East against Sparta Boss and this clash is also expected to be a fierce encounter between these two sides.
Purses of $200,000 and $100,000 respectively are at stake for the winner and loser of this shindig.
There will be three exhibition matches that will whet the appetites of the fans prior to the third place match and the final. Opening proceedings at 20:00hrs would be Legends of Futsal East taking on their counterparts from the West.
This would be followed by an all female showdown between Albouystown and Tiger Bay; a match-up that is anticipated to be a classy affair. The final exhibition match will see Ramps Logistics opposing Bounty Supermarket with bragging rights at stake.
Corporate support for the competition has come from Stag, Bakewell, Dinars Trading, Broomes Foundation, Power Producers & Distributors Inc., 94.1FM, Star Party Rentals, GuyBisco, Ground Structural and Engineering Inc. and DeSinco Trading.
