“Critters” jailed after threatening to behead reputed wife

Orin Blair, called “Critters” 41, has been jailed for threatening to behead his reputed wife.
Blair, a Labourer of Betsy Ground, East Canje, Berbice is accused of threatening to kill his reputed Wife Diana Prass. The incident is said to have occurred on November 23, last.
According to Police Prosecutor Inspector Althea Solomon, Blair and Prass have known each other for over 12 years. She was once his reputed wife and they lived together.
On the day in question the woman was by a friend’s house when Blair visited and called out to her. He then blurted out, ”When I catch you, I going to kill you and F…. off your head. I gun go back to jail for you. Don’t make a see you on the road.”
The woman in fear reported the matter to the Police and Blair was arrested and charged. He appeared before Magistrate Renita Singh at the Reliance Magistrate’s Court, was found guilty and sentenced to six months in jail.
