Representative of the female winners, Ms. Amnella Ramkarran receives the trophy and cash prize from Regatta Committee Treasurer, Kenneth Williams.
The respective winners of the Bartica Easter Regatta 2019 Male and Female Futsal competitions were presented with their prizes and trophies recently during the Dirt Bike competition held at the Mongrippa Hill Field.
The winners of the male competition were Beacons FC and they were presented with a cash prize of $200,00
Male champs Captain Whitney ‘Don King’ Welcome receives the first place cash prize and trophy from Sports Coordinator, Michael Dos Santos in the presence of teammates and Treasurer, Kenneth Williams.
0 for their efforts. Second place went to Jones Avenue and they collected $100,000 for their effort, while the third place prize of $50,000 went to Rivers View.
Panthers United emerged as the female champions and pocketed $20,000 with the second place going to Almanac Queens. The Most Valuable Player of this competition was Ms. Terriann Joseph. Trophies accompanied the cash prizes for the top three male and top two female teams.
