Guyana defeated Windward Islands by 25 runs when the CWI Regional U15 50-over tournament continued yesterday.
Batting first at Coolidge Cricket Ground, Guyana posted 222-9. Opener Rampertab Ramnauth struck seven fours in a top score of 57 while Zachary Jodah made 45 with five fours, Isai Thorne 21, Mavindra Dindyal 18, Thaddeus Lovell 14 and Alvin Mohbair 12. Extras contributed 40 as Deshonte Thomas claimed 3-30, Kervyn Gangadeen 2-17 and Royce Paul 2-48.
Windward Islands were bowled out for 197 in 47.5 overs in reply. Mahid Lambert made 50 with six fours while Paul got 25, Gangadeen 21 and Stephan Pascal 19. Extras assisted with 49. Throne captured 3-59 from 10 overs to earn the man-of-the-match award while Lovell had 2-35, Mohabir 1-13 and Krsna Singh 1-25.
