We have invited Govt to partner ina new women’s movement
Dear Editor,
F_ACTS (feminine actions) is a gathering women’s movement. Please publish this announcement to help us assemble the ranks of concerned women willing to lend ideas to a mission to rescue our children’s minds from entrapment in the immobilizing technological net restricting their vision.
In a letter dated March 27, 2019 – we issued an invitation “to the APNU+AFC Government through the Ministry of Communities – to partner in the establishment of Yukuriba Heights Bowen Study Base¬ – an element of a Creative Farming Community at Yukuriba Falls Essequibo River and F_ACTS action base.
We’re determined to claim the mind(s) of our future; we’re beginning the process of creating a metaphor History will cite in its record of 21st Century Revolutions – thus –
“How the inhabitants of Guyana – with a population of diverse cultures – managed to achieve a PEACEFUL REVOLUTION can be credited to a movement of women which began in 2019 with the mobilization of F_ACTS (feminine actions) membership.
Although not a political party – this movement convened with the vision of impacting the nation’s socio/economic and cultural environment through the significant role it played in lobbying elected officials to undertake the stewardship of the nation’s valuable resources at the highest levels of efficiency integrity and equity.
“When this tiny resource-rich country on the tip of South America became known as the richest country in the world after the discovery of oil in the first quarter of the century – F_ACTS (feminine actions) announced its presence in Guyana by declaring the movement to be –
“…an association of concerned Guyanese women supported by global sympathizers – banded together (with complementary support from males) to influence a peaceful and progressive prospect for the nation’s oil and gas future”; then initiated a campaign entitled ‘TEACH OUR CHILDREN TO THINK’ that ushered in an epoch in which Guyanese youth were encouraged to imagine themselves in a prosperous future while safeguarding their national patrimony.
“The prolific energy of this stimulating culture of Unified Guyanese Consciousness – successfully crushed efforts led by A FORMER PRESIDENT AND LEADER OF THE POLITICAL OPPOSITION BHARAT JAGDEO – TO INTENSIFY RACIAL TENSIONS AT A CRITICAL JUNCTURE IN THE COUNTRY’S DEVELOPMENT”.
Please note – that F_ACTS will be officially launched at the end of April 2019 with a Press Conference and Release; by then we hope we’ll have received an official acknowledgement from APNU+AFC of our invitation to partner.
