Ministers throughout the country will come together to break bread together as they reflect on the death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The purpose of the Day of Atonement is to bring the body of Christ together and minister to the nation on Good Friday in observance of this significant period on the Christian calendar.
This service will be held on Friday April 19, at the Everest Cricket Ground- Carifesta Avenue and Camp Street at 15:00hrs, under the theme “We are Better Together”.
The event is hosted by the Zadok Ministers Fellowship and there will be a variation of speakers, prayers for the nation and Ministry in the arts from Guyana’s best. This event is free.
Zadok Ministers Fellowship met on March 16 at Special Miracles Ministries Royalty Centre/East La Penitence. Approximately 60 ministers were present for a time of ministry in the word, fellowship and discussion about the network’s plans. The main item was to finalise plans for Atonement 2019.
In previous years Atonement was held at major Public spaces such as Parliament Building, Bank of Guyana and the High Court.
