Mix Up, Turning Point, Thunder and C7 registered victories when action in the Georgetown Zone of the Ivanoff Vodka nationwide dominoes competition continued on Monday night at Dynasty.
In Zone A, Mix Up chalked up 93 games to beat Players with 68 and C6 on 62. Mark Wiltshire and Gilbert Mendonca led Mix Up with the maximum of 18 games each, Earl Mars and P. Sargeant Made 16 each for Players.
Turning Point marked 86 games to beat Gangster on 80 and Phantom with 60 in their encounter. Sandra Welch made the maximum 18 games for the winners, while Susan Collymore supported with 16. Derrick Collymoe scored the maximum 18 for Gangster, while S. Collymore contributed 17.
In Zone B, Thunder and C7 were tied in first position on 74 games each ahead of Transport SC on 70. Faye Joseph and Q. Adams scored 17 and 16 games respectively for Thunder, while B. Edwards and R. Cato scored 17 and 16 in that order for C7.
In the East Coast Demerara Zone final, Travellers posted 82 games to beat P6 with 70 and One Love 66. Sydney McLean 16, Brenan Dennis 16, Oswald Rodney 14 and Esan Caesar 14 were the outstanding player for Travellers. Haymant Hardin scored the maximum 18 games, Sebaran Persaud and Rajendranauth Samlall 12 each for the runner up side. Herbert Wright made 14 and Darrel Breddy13 for One Love.
In the East Bank Demerara final, Hardball defeated Black Bull who made 67 and K and K with 66. Pamela David 15, Milroy Prince 15, Ron Loncke 15 and Travis Benn 13 were outstanding for Hardball. J. James scored 15, while Anthony Pollard got 12 for Black Bull; Ravin Persaud marked 15 and Sherman Clark 13 for K and K. (Zaheer Mohamed)
