The police in Berbice are currently on the hunt for a 15-year-old school dropout of Angoy’s Avenue after the mother of the teen made contact with authorities and informed them that a gun was ‘stashed’ in an empty lot near her home in Angoy’s Avenue, New Amsterdam.
Reports reaching this publication stated that the teen, known as “Hot Skull” in his village, reportedly hid the gun in the lot near their home recently but his mother who was not about to cover her son’s ill deeds, decided to call the police.
Police who arrived at the location shortly after and subsequently retrieved the firearm identified as a Nitro Piston Rifle that included a telescopic lens and a silencer component. It was wrapped and hidden in a white cloth between the vegetation in the yard.
