Following hard on the heels of the Valentine weekend tournament and the relaxing Mashramani celebrations tournament, the Lusignan Golf Club (LGC) is set to host two exciting tournaments this weekend.
Tomorrow, from 12:30hrs the New Trend Auto of David Street, Campbellville 18-hole 3-Flight (0-13, 14-21 and 22-28) Medal Play tournament takes place.
CEO and Owner Rudy Ramalingum, who decided to set a standard in quality and service six years ago when he started the business, has expanded to include the Foodtown Brand Restaurant, wholesale foods and snacks. Prizes would be offered to the 1st and 2nd place finisher in each Flight; Nearest to Pin, Longest Drive and Best Gross.
From O9:00hrs on Sunday, Club members Romel and Robin have combined to sponsor a 9-hole 2-Flight (0 -7 and 8-14) Medal Play competition. Prizes and bragging rights will go to the top three golfers in each Flight.
Individual prizes will also to the player with the Nearest to Pin, Longest Drive, Best Gross, and Overall Best Net. Players would receive free water and drinks. The public is invited and welcome to witness the action free of charge at these tournaments. For further information, persons can call the LGC on 592 220 5660.
