Ranks of the Wales Police Station headed by Inspector Rushell Alexander, last Friday donated school supplies, shoes and clothes to school aged children of the Free and Easy Village, West Bank Demerara.
Maternity items were donated to an expectant mother.
The residents thanked the police for their kind gesture.
Meanwhile, Inspector Alexander noted that the initiative was aimed at fostering better police/community relations.
