The Flying Ace Cycle Club (FACC), which is touted as one of the most active cycling entities in Guyana, will begin its 2019 cycle season today with a 40 miles cycle road race on the West Coast of Berbice.
The event, which is for riders of the FACC only, is being sponsored by Neshaun Rigby Sr. Rigby is the father of BMX riders Neshaun jr and Nehaum Rigby and the race is being staged in observation of Neshaun Jr 13th birthday.
The event will see the riders pedaling off from 10:00hrs at the Lovely Lass Middle Dam before proceed to Abary and turning back to finish at its place of origin.
There will be prizes for the first five finishers, the first two veterans. There will also be prizes for the top 12-14 finishers and the top 12-14 and 9-12 BMX riders.
There are also eight prime point prizes up for grabs.
The coordinator is Randolph Roberts.
