The Guysuco Apprentice Training Centre located at Port Mourant, Corentyne, Berbice which had ceased accepting apprentices two years ago, is set to reopen its doors in February.
The Centre will be open to youths within the ages of 15 to 17 years old through the Albion, Blairmont and Uitvlugt Estates. Forms can be uplifted from the Human Resource Departments of the respective estates, the Training Centre Workshop or the Apprentice hostel.
Closing date for applications is January 19.
The applicants must attend a meeting at the respective estates Community Development Centres from 08:00hrs. There they will meet with officials and will be required to fill the respective forms which will be submitted to the authorities.
Those in attendance will then be apprised of the apprenticeship scheme.
