My Dear People,
Mr. Charrandass planned this move way in advance. Watch him speaking with reporters, Charrandass did not hold back, he let the cat out of the bag. What the Government failed to do is to put their ears to the ground.
He appeared to have planned the vote. He had prepared a letter, which he gave to his secretary of his law office in Berbice, detailing his reasons for his vote, that is not an overnight decision?
Mr Charrandass said the letter was to have been released in case he did not make it from the Parliament chambers. Please look at the pictures in Parliament who were sitting behind Mr. Charrandass and who yell their hands in support of Charrandass vote. Those were the same people he had also made plans to fly out yesterday.
He wrote to his son, urging him to be happy and to be a good father.
With regards to his decision, Charrandass decided to complain that the Government MP, Minister of Health, Volda Lawrence, was sitting in the cafeteria in the Parliament Buildings allegedly making threats. Is this the same man praising the same Minister in Parliament?
He also put blame on the Government for the sugar workers! My question to Mr. Charrandass who was part of the Government: what has he done for the sugar workers or generally in his area for the people in Region 6.
So Mr. Charrandass don’t try to tarnish the Minister of Health to cover up for what you had planned to do by voting for the PPP. Shame on you Mr. Charrandass. You will have to live with this for the rest of your life. And when you have the time look back at this speech you made on the budget.
Regards
Beni Rayman
