Leguan All Stars won the Winston Murray 10th Annual Memorial Female Softball competition played at the Enterprise Ground recently.
In the six overs final, Leguan All stars batted first and scored 45-2, with player of the final Narisa Azad scoring 26 and Keisha Tucker 15.
Georgetown AL Sport and Tour Promotions School girls team replied with 26-2; Siana Abrams made 10. Other Awards went to 10-year old Briana Samaroo for taking the most catches and Nekella Trotz for picking up the most wickets.
The organiser Mark Walkes would like to thank all those who made the tournament possible including, Hon Minister of Education Nicolette Henry, Richard Van West Charles, Director of Sport Christopher Jones, James Bond, Courtney Benn, Alvin Rambarran, Modern Optical Service and Bruce Vieira.
