The Grove/Diamond Neighbourhood Democratic Council’s new members were recently installed, with the Chairperson being a female educator. As a resident and tax payer I would like to suggest the following :
(1) Councillors must be disciplined and answerable to the residents.
(2) Repair the streets, clean drains, parapets and remove encumbrances.
(3) Get the market tarmac active immediately, install lights and remove street vendors.
(4) Plants trees on the street parapets to beautify the sections.
(5) Train office staff to deal with the public and the word is honesty.
(6) Collect tree trimmings and discarded household items, etc from residents at a small fee.
(7) Rent equipment to the residents at a reasonable rate.
(8) Employ two Community Policemen to enforce the laws.
Should the council work equal with residents, the above put in place and the over twenty-one million fraud investigated, then the Grove/Diamond N D C will certainly be a place to admire.
Yours Respectfully
Perrmanand Ram
