David Hunte in collaboration with senior organising secretary of the Georgetown Dominoes Association Mark Wiltshire will be hosting a dominoes tournament on December 9 at 6 Middle Street, Pouderoyen.
Entrance fee is $12,000 and the winning team will take home a trophy and $150,000, runner up a trophy and $75,000 and third place $35,000. The MVP will be given $5,000 and double-six time is 13:30hrs.
All Season’s Racing Service of Robb Street is the latest entity to support the tournament. The entity’s representative Tiffany Johnson, who recently presented a cheque to Hunte, said they are pleased to be part of the tournament and are looking forward to a successful competition. Hunte expressed gratitude to the sponsors which also includes Ravi Variety Store, Ansa McAl and Spartans.
Meanwhile, GDA President Faye Joseph and Wiltshire will be hosting a four-game competition starting at 14:00hrs today at Gaulding Place, South Ruimveldt. Entrance fee is $10,000. Teams can contact Wiltshire on 665-5855 for more information.
