Things got to be improving in Guyana. At least things looking up in G/T, Corriverton and Anna Regina. One got a pandit fuh a mayor, one got a pastor and de third got a Moulvi.
Before those announcements, dem boys hear dem swear in a Buddhist and a Mormon in two odda towns.
Dem know fuh sure in G/T, de Pandit chase Green out she seat. She and de Clown Clerk nearly shut down de city.
Over de past couple months, dem had some serious problems in Georgetown.
When Soulja Bai come into power, he clean up G/T; till people all over de world who know de country had to talk bout de city. Dem boys don’t know wha happen but suddenly things begin to turn.
Perhaps things was too nice, suh people decide to tek dem cut.
De crooks come out. One of dem, de Clown Clerk, start to sell wha didn’t belong to him. He even sell land wha de city council didn’t own. He sell land in Bel Air, he rent waterfront land wha didn’t belong to him, he lease government reserve and he didn’t do all this out of de goodness of he heart.
Dem boys seh when he fall, he pull de Town Clown wid him. She was de lady who try to introduce de parking meter. It get vote down.
Then dem boys seh she and de Fantastic Four tek free trip from people who come to mek dem fortune. All dem things add up and mek de pandit tek she wuk.
Anna Regina want salvation too. Is always a problem. If de sea defence ain’t break away, de rice lands getting nuff pests. De pastor gon help dem pray.
De Buddhist is necessary, if dem hope to control de backtrack movement.
Talk half and wait fuh more Mayors. Dem still got room fuh a gambler and a con man.
