De private people sue because de Govt ketch dem bobbing and weaving or as some people seh, dem half slip was showing.
Imagine fuh eleven years dem was collecting and sharing de money, Wild West. De Govt wha invest de hog of de money in de Bridge was getting little or nutten.
All those years, all Guyana hearing from these vampires was de bridge not mekking profit. According to dem things was suh bad dem never even repair one pontoon or change a bolt and nut pun de Bridge.
But de Govt believe de Bridge was mekking money and de private people was cacking de nation. That’s how de Gov’t decide to tek control, not take over de Bridge as dem private people want de nation to believe.
All de Govt want is to run de Bridge to see how much money de Bridge really raking in.
Dem boys believe de private people cards gun skin up suh dem decide to run to court to block de Govt from running de Bridge.
In a nutshell, dem boys seh is like you family, a driver and a conductor buy a minibus. De bus cost $4M. You family put $3M, de bus driver and de conductor put de odda $1M.
De driver and de conductor was given de bus to work. De two of dem wuk de bus fuh two years and every month all you hear is de bus not mekking money.
But you believe you getting kak. You seeing this bus passing whole day in front you house full, full. You decide to tek you bus and run it youself.
De next thing you hear is de driver and conductor going to court to stop you when you got de hag of de money in de bus.
That is exactly de scenario wid de Berbice Bridge.
