The Diamond Housing Scheme access road has an important bridge that links to the East Bank Demerara highway and is of serious concern. The bridge’s metal rails are being damaged too often by vehicular traffic. The destruction is more or less done by heavy duty vehicles. The Ministry of Public Infrastructure engineers must sit and study this bridge and rails. Is it too narrow that causes the rails to be damaged so often ?
On behalf of the residents, I hope to see the engineers come up with a new design to suit the bridge.
Yours Co-operatively,
Parmanand Ram
