Teen murder suspect surrenders himself to Kaieteur News
A Leopold Street teen, who is currently a suspect in the killing of a drug addict only known as “Buckman”, is now in police custody after surrendering himself last night.
The teen of Leopold Street, came to Kaieteur News about 21:00 hrs last night with his older brother, Jessie Jones, after learning that the police were looking for him.
On Saturday night, the teen was walking on Lombard Street with three other young men, when one of the young men accosted “Buckman”. The teen said that, when he saw his friend pull out a knife, he got scared and started to run.
This suspect is 15 years old, and attends Carmel Secondary School. He is currently assisting with police investigations.
On Saturday evening, police reported that “Buckman” was attacked and stabbed by four men. The attack occurred around 22:45 hrs.
When the suspects left, persons approached the area and found “Buckman” clutching his abdomen.

An ambulance arrived later. Attempts to save the man were futile. His intestines were protruding and he kept slipping in and out of consciousness.
A police release stated that he was stabbed multiple times because he and others reportedly stopped buying drugs from them.
