Mae’s Secondary School are heading the points standing after four games with 108 in the National Sports Commission, AL Sport and Tour Promotions 27th School Girls Windball Cricket competition.
In latest results, Queenstown Secondary managed 138-1, batting first with Charmaine Warrick scoring 88 and Felisca Stanton 32. Tucville Secondary responded with 96-3. Rayann Pilgrim made 36.
Mae’s, after being invited to take first strike made 162-1; Africia Gentle smashed 139 including 21 sixes. Carmel Secondary scored 131 without loss in reply. Siana Abrams struck 62 and Indera Amardo 54.
Enterprise Primary were limited to 55-3, taking first strike. Angeleka Hazel got 21 and Gainacy Gitten 18; Fiona Gibbs had 2-21.Smith’s Memorial in reply were restricted to 53-3. Fiona Gibbs made 40 and Dellanna Small 14.
Carmel posted 149 without loss, batting first. Siana Abrams stroked 76 while Indera Amardo cracked 54. Central High managed 100-2 in reply. Ashanti Browne and Safiaha Austin scored 40 and 34 respectively.
Mae’s took first knock and rattled up 92-2 with Chrystal Melville scoring 32. Tucville were limited to 57-4 in reply. A. Gentle had 3-15. Enterprise and Smith’s Memorial are tied in second place on 59 points followed by Central High on 49, Queenstown 39, East Ruimveldt 32, Carmel 31 and Tucville 15.
