Yesterday de Coalition call a press conference at PNC headquarters, Congress Place in Sophia. Is a long time since dem hold one, suh dem reporters go to hear wha dem had to say.
Sitting at de head table was Volda Lawrence, Carl Greenidge, Moses Nagamootoo, Khemraj Ramjattan, David Patterson, Joe Harmon, and Amna Ally.
Also present but not at de head table was Basil Williams, Jaipaul Sharma, Ronald Bulkan, Annette Ferguson and Winston Felix.
Was like de whole Coalition present. Dat wasn’t all. Dem walk wid dem supporters. And de supporters was more than de reporters. Dem was so nuff dat de reporters had to stand.
One of dem even tek way a reporter seat.
When dem reporters start fuh ask question, de supporters behave like hooligans. At one stage, de reporters believe dem was in de ghetto.
Dem abuse de reporters like if de reporters didn’t have a right to ask question. One of dem tell a reporter fuh go home.
Was a lawless situation dat nobody ever see at a press conference. And while all dat going on, dem leaders sit down clapping and smiling.
De reporters seh wid all dat dem supporters was carrying on, not one of de leaders never seh a word to stop de abuse. De reporters lef wid dem mouth open.
Some of dem didn’t even try to ask questions. Some of dem seh dem would never go back. It was shameful.
When dem boys watch de leaders dem beginning to confirm dat nothing change, dat there was an exchange. Is de same behaviour Jagdeo use to encourage.
De thing was wuss than de firemen who raid de Fly Jamaica plane and thief de people property. Dis is why dem boys seh dem don’t want nutten happen to Soulja Bai.
Dem boys certain if he been deh, dat lawlessness couldn’t happen.
Talk half and shame on all of dem who call demself leaders.
