Abraham cops Men’s Bodybuilding Overall Title at OAFA Great Lakes Classic in Canada

Guyanese Canadian based body builder Eustace Abraham returned to the sport following a short break to capture the Men’s Bodybuilding Overall Title at the Ontario Amateur Fitness Association (OAFA) inaugural Naturals and Great Lakes Classic 2018 championship on November 4 last at the Earl Haig Secondary School.
Before carting off the overall tile and prize, the 219-pound Abraham who will celebrate his 48th birthday next month, had won the Men’s Masters Over-40 and Men’s Heavyweight Open categories; the event was promoted by IFBB Pro, Jason Machovichi.
In an invited comment, Abraham said that he would have been involved in tougher competitions but was happy that he did compete, having just five (5) weeks to get in shape.
”I commenced training with a bodyweight of 263 and competed at 219. It was a bit of a challenge in terms of my prep, since I had to balance training with work and of course you know dieting is also vital; but all in all, everything world out.
I had had made a decision to stay off the competitive scene for a few years and focus on my career but I soon changed that perspective because appearance was a major credit on the job so I waltzed right back into the world of competition, “ Abraham revealed nothing that he has not lost a single stripe.
Abraham’s next contest will be the Canadian Bodybuilding Federation Nationals Pro Qualifier in Montreal, next August>
”But the way I am feeling after tasting victory yet again, I might very well do some earlier shows. I am excited to grace the pro stage.”
