Mix Up chalked up 51 games to win the final of the Stag Beer four-game dominoes competition which concluded on Tuesday night at Turning Point.
OPKO finished second on 48 games, while Phantom placed third on 44. Gilbert Mendonca made 11 and Ewie Gordon nine games for the winners, while Richard Chase got nine for the runner up team. Rawl Peters and Tyrone Ambrose made 11 and nine games respectively for OPKO.
Meanwhile, Barbara Marshall will be hosting a dominoes competition starting at 19:00hrs tonight at Thirsty Fox, Cemetery Road and D’ Urban Street. The winning team will take home a trophy and $150,000, runner up a trophy and $80,000, third place a trophy and $50,000. Entrance fee is $15,000 and the tournament will be played on a two in one out basis. Teams can contact Barbara Marshall on 663-8280 or Mark Wiltshire on 665-5855 for more information. The competition will conclude tomorrow.
On Sunday, Wiltshire will be staging Sunday in the Country competition starting at 12:00hrs at Roop Rum Shop, Old Road, Unity, Mahaica. Entrance fee is $15,000. The feature game involves Georgetown, East Coast and Berbice. The winning team will pocket a trophy and $150,000 and a trophy, runner up $70,000 and a trophy and third place $30,000 and a trophy.
