Avinash Persaud and Christine Sukhram emerged as the male and female winners when the Guyana Open Golf tournament concluded yesterday at Lusignan Golf Course.
Persaud shot a 144 gross, while Sukhram scored a 171 gross tally to emerge as the best among the large field of competitors.
The action and presentation of prizes brought to a culmination two days of keen competition among both local and overseas golfers in the biggest tournament on the local calendar.
