Several churches have been invited to send teams to participate in the first Inter Church Futsal championship tomorrow at the Mackenzie Sports Club hard court.
The Praise Tabernacle Assembly of God Church of Watooka, Linden has taken up the challenge to plan this championship which will bring the best futsal players from the churches to battle for trophies and other prizes which bounces off at 9:00hrs.
Interested churches form the various denominations who would have teams play in the inaugural futsal tournament are advised to contact Pastor Selwyn Sills of the Praise Tabernacle AOG Church on 624-3834 to ensure their participation and to be brought up to speed with the rules which will govern this tournament.
The one day tournament will also have the side line fun and other attractions along with the main event of clubs contesting for the trophies which will be at stake. Churches will be allowed two teams and a registration fee of $2,000 will be the entrance fee for each team.
