GT Panthers became the latest team to book a place in the quarterfinals of the Georgetown Football Association / Stag Revival Cup which continued with a number of matches last weekend.
Also posting wins were Buxton and Santos, while Beacon and Western Tigers played to a 1-1 stalemate. Beacon had taken the lead on 25 minutes through a Darien Dickson goal but Western Tigers clawed their way back to earn an equal share of the points when Wesley Greenidge found the back of the nets in the 49th minute.
GT Panthers with their 2-0 win over Pele became the second team to book a final eight spot following the qualification of Georgetown Football Club. Keeping the flawless record of two wins and a draw intact for the GT Panthers were Lenn Thomas and Collyer Daniels who scored in the 10th and 51st minutes respectively.
Buxton, led by a brace form young Kobe Durant caged Wolves United 2-0; Durant found the back of the nets in the 28th and 60th minutes, while Santos were equally dismissive in their 3-0 triumph over Order and Discipline.
The goal scorers were Chris Albert (33), Robby Mc Cloggin (45) and Linsdale George in the 69th minutes.
