Teen allegedly raped during home invasion

According to the police, two men, armed with guns, barged into the home of a woman and her 18-year-old daughter at approximately 23:00 hrs Sunday and robbed them of one LG cellular phone, four silver bangles and three silver rings.
The men after bagging off the items turned their attention to the teen who is a mother of two, and dragged her out of the house while firing two shots in the process.
They hauled the teen some distance away from her home and allegedly raped her. The men then abandoned the young woman after committing the deed. She reportedly walked back to her home. The police arrived shortly after.
The teen was subsequently taken to the New Amsterdam Public Hospital where a medical examination was conducted.
Police are investigating.
