A senior teacher of the Mabaruma Primary School, Region 1 (Barima Waini), was brutally chopped while he was at home asleep.
David Patterson received chop wounds to his head, back of his neck and one of his ears was severed during the ordeal. He was rushed to the Mabaruma Hospital where he was admitted and is being monitored closely.
This publication learnt that Patterson might have been attacked by a brother who is a drug addict. It is said that the man constantly attempts to steal his mother’s pension money, but is prevented from doing so by Patterson.
